Meet Mimi!
Mimi is an 8-month-old, 31-pound mixed-breed sweetheart with a soft black coat and the cutest brown “eyebrows” you’ve ever seen. This gentle girl is still discovering the world, and while she may be a little timid at first, she’s already showing how much love and curiosity she has to offer.
Because she hasn’t had much exposure to new places or experiences, Mimi approaches life with cautious little steps—but she’s learning every day. She’s currently working on her leash skills and gaining confidence, and she’ll thrive with a patient adopter who can help her explore at her own pace.
Mimi gets along well with other dogs and may even benefit from a calm, friendly canine companion to show her the ropes. With time, reassurance, and a loving home, she’s sure to blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
