Story
Bella is an absolutely gorgeous young adult female Blue Lacy mix who weighs about 55 pounds. She has soft blue gray fur with white accents.
Bella is a happy and playful girl who loves to play with other dogs. She likes cuddling with her people and giving kisses. She is a fun and smiley girl. She is potty trained and does well on a leash.
Due to her life of neglect and abuse prior to being rescued, she can take a little bit to warm up to new people in her life, but once she does she will be your best friend! Snacks are the way to her heart!
Miss Bella was found abandoned, pregnant and injured. It was discovered that she had an old fracture in her rear leg that required amputation. You would never know she was missing a leg, it doesn't stop her from running or playing!
Bella has been receiving professional obedience training to help build her confidence and attends doggie daycare where she gets to interact with lots of dogs and humans, and she is realizing just how good life can be! She loves both, and hopes her new family will be open to continuing daycare and training as needed.
She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.
Bella's adoption fee will contribute to our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we prepare, transport and adopt out in the Midwest. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
She is being fostered in Muskego, WI.
Her adoption fee is $350, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
