Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cobre is a sweet and chill boy who loves being outside and running around the yard. He especially enjoys having his ears and neck scratched. At first he was very shy, but being around other dogs has already helped him come out of his shell so he'll need a confident companion dog in his adoptive home. He still has some skittish moments and is not fully potty trained, but he has shown quick improvement in just a short time and will likely continue to gain confidence with patience and consistency. Cobre came from a group of four abandoned puppies and is still  learning what it means to feel safe and loved. He makes his foster mom laugh by climbing into the water bowl to splash around. The only time he fusses is for a few minutes at night when first kenneled, and then he settles down. Cobre will thrive with a patient adopter who can give him time to adjust and a calm environment where he can feel secure as he blossoms into the wonderful companion he is meant to be. Cobre is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet LuckyLady, the happiest little whirlwind you’ll ever love! This sweet, affectionate girl is all heart—and all energy. When she gets excited (which is often), she may bounce, hop, and do her signature “morning donuts,” spinning in joyful circles the moment she sees you. LuckyLady gets along wonderfully with cats, other dogs, and every person she meets. She’s incredibly friendly and loves attention, though she’s more of a “let’s play!” girl than a snuggly couch potato. Her attention span is short and her enthusiasm is huge, so she’ll sit with you for a moment before zooming off to see what fun she can find next. She’s not super into toys, but a squeaky toy will definitely get her ears perked and her head tilting. This girl is still learning her manners—she has “sit” mastered, but leash training and obedience are works in progress. She doesn’t mind the leash at all but may pull or run circles because she’s just so excited about life. She’s mostly potty trained but still needs frequent outdoor breaks, as she hasn’t quite figured out how to tell you she needs to go. Crate training is going well too—she may protest for a few minutes, but she settles quickly and quietly.  Here is a video of Lucky being such a good girl, taking a treat. LuckyLady is also petrified of stairs, likely because she hasn’t had much experience with indoor life. She’ll need patience, encouragement, and a family willing to help her learn the world isn’t so scary. Because of her high energy and bouncy personality, she may accidentally knock over small children, so a home with sturdier kids or adults would be ideal. But one thing’s for sure—she is incredibly sweet, eager to learn, and excited to meet new people every single day. If you’re looking for a joyful, goofy, loving companion who will brighten your mornings with her donut spins and your days with her big heart, LuckyLady is ready to dance her way into your home! LuckyLady is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Goliath is one of the most striking dogs we’ve ever met in person. His shiny coat, unique coloring, and those two mesmerizing blue eyes make him an absolute showstopper—and he gets nonstop compliments wherever he goes. But Goliath isn’t just a pretty face; he genuinely  lives  to be a good boy, please his humans, and do the right thing. He’s incredibly intelligent, highly tuned into people’s emotions and intentions, and picks up on routines and training remarkably quickly. With his smarts come both advantages and challenges: he is extremely trainable and eager to please, but he can also be a bit high-strung compared to other dogs his age. He has no naughty bone in his body, but without proper outlets for his energy and brainpower, he can become restless, showing behaviors like excessive licking, scratching, or whining. With consistent exercise, outdoor time, and a structured routine with clear boundaries, Goliath absolutely thrives. He doesn’t require any special medications or kenneling, and his previous nervous behaviors are completely resolved. That said, he does best in a home that offers both high levels of physical activity and mental engagement, along with consistent leadership and structure to help him feel calm and secure during downtime. Goliath is incredibly well-rounded and trustworthy. He does beautifully with people, other animals, and new situations. He kennels perfectly, rides well in the car, can be left home alone for extended periods, walks politely on leash (especially with a gentle leader), and is 100% potty trained. He knows basic commands—come, sit, down, stay—and listens reliably. Goliath is from an Owner Surrender.
