You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.*Courtesy Post* Meet Cookie! Cookie is a 1–2-year-old Heeler/Pit mix who’s sweet, playful, and super cuddly. She’s 35 lbs, spayed, crate trained, housebroken, and great with dogs, cats, and adults! Cookie does have separation anxiety and can be a startle biter when woken suddenly, so she’s best in a home without young kids or with someone who can give her space while she sleeps. Because Cookie startles easily when she’s sleeping, she has had two sleep-startle bite/nips involving the children in her home. For this reason, she would do best in a home where kids are not present. She’s not aggressive, just a nervous sleeper who needs a home that understands her boundaries. She’s lived with other pets, isn’t destructive, and comes with her crate. Cookie just wants a loving, patient home to help her feel safe. Interested in giving Cookie her forever home? NOT Good with kids. Good with adults, dogs, and cats. Housebroken and crate trained. Cookie is not in the care of TDR.
