Carly is the last of her litter who is still available, and we keep asking ourselves, WHY? She's such a nice dog with her beautiful face. Carly's birthday is 4/3/23. Carly is 47 lbs. Adorable and energetic girl. She’s tall, lean, very Athletic, and can jump low fences easily. House-trained, but she may have an accident if she's very excited. She connects well with females and will need an additional day or two to get used to the male in the family since she was fostered and cared for by a female. She's friendly with other dogs. And she is not sure about cats. Very food motivated, which is a plus for easier training. Now working on leash walks Currently fostered in NJ The best home for Carly: A house with at least six feet of fence Another friendly dog is a plus Active family, going on hiking, running partner, etc Loving and patient owners Here is the back story: A lady in her late 80s loves her momma dog. The girl jumped the fence and got pregnant. (we'll be spaying her on the 25th) The lady, unfortunately, has terminal cancer and is somewhat bedridden. She can no longer care for them the way they need to be. She loves all of them and was crying, knowing she had to give them up. The six siblings were underweight and covered in fleas, but they anxiously waited for the lady to come to sit on the porch because the pups knew they would be patted! The lady has done her best to care for them and realizes it’s time to let them go. Our foster promised her we would find loving homes for them. And we will. THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING...THIS IS NOT A BLEU'S K9 RESCUE DOG... My name is Blue. I got my name because of my unique eyes. One eye is brown and you guessed it the other is blue. I’m often called very handsome and I am a mix breed Lab and Blue heeler. I’m a strong guy and weigh about 65 pounds. I am a big guy with a heart just as big and strong. I love my people. Wherever you go I am right behind. I am a Velcro dog. Want to go for a ride in the car? Just open the door and I’ll hop in. I am very gentle with people. I love having my teeth brushed, nails trimmed and even my fur brushed. However, though I love people I am not fond of other animals or most dogs. Because of my breed, I have a high prey drive and want to give chase to just about anything moving. Also because of my background I exhibit aggression towards some dogs. You see I was adopted out of a shelter when I was about 1-2 years old. I have been in a loving home for the past four years but my humans are getting old and having health issues. So I am looking for a new family to love me. I know I have my short comings but I more than make up for it with my loyalty and devotion to my humans. I know my basic commands, and understand the importance of sit, stay, “come “and leave it. I am energetic and enjoy going on walks and playing fetch. I also like to play with squeak toys and chew sticks to keep myself occupied. By the way I am healthy, neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all my vaccines. My ideal home would include a large fenced backyard, with ample space to run and play. So if you would be willing to share your home and heart with me as your sole pet in the household, I am ready for a new adventure with you.
