We got Butch with his sister Harley back in June of 2021. And unfortunately, both of them are very high strung, active dogs that often times feed off each others’ energy. This has made it difficult for our family to keep the two of them. Butch is so sweet, loves to snuggle and lick you to death! He has never bitten anyone and absolutely loves other dogs and people. He’s been trained to be taken on runs and is a great running companion. He’s crate trained, will sit and stay, completely house broken, and is very well natured. He just has some behavioral traits that have made it difficult for our family to manage. He needs constant exercise, he can very often get fixated on his hunting instinct, he has to be retrained on certain things constantly (like not surfing the kitchen counters or door rushing), and he is a poop eater. In spite of all that, we really do feel like he could be a great endearing dog for the right kind of family. We just want him to be loved as much as he loves us!

I was abandoned by my first family on the side of the highway for a few months with my sister Kinsley. She was my protector during that time. I was terribly traumatized by being abandoned. She was taken from a person that wanted to put her down. My mother’s boyfriend took her before that happened because he didn’t want to see her be put down. She has been an outside dog at his house for a few years now with two other dogs. She is good inside. Very skittish due to not being around a lot of animal like a normal family dog. She is great in cars and has a great personality. She just needs the right family/home. She is an amazing dog. She is 4 years old still a baby in my opinion. I know she has her baby shots and I just took her to get groomed. I will consider taking her to the vet to double check everything else. I would love to keep her, but I just got a puppy and I can’t take care of three at once. I hope she finds the right family.
