Hey there, world! I'm Comet, the pint-sized powerhouse with a heart full of puppy love! At just 3 months old and 12 pounds of Cattle Dog/ mix magic, I'm the perfect blend of energy and enthusiasm. Yep, you guessed it – I'm a fun loving female who's ready to take on the world, one tail wag at a time.
I may be homeless right now, but that doesn't stop me from spreading joy wherever I go. Whether it's chasing my tail or discovering the wonders of the world one sniff at a time, I'm all about living life to the fullest.
Right now, I'm hanging out at a shelter in Georgia, but my sights are set on the cheese-loving paradise of Wisconsin. I've heard tales of families with open arms and endless treats, and I'm ready to find mine! So, if you're in the market for a furry bundle of joy who's as happy as a pup in a dog park, look no further. Comet's here to light up your life with her infectious puppy energy!
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
