Meet Pepper! Pepper is a beautiful 2-year-old Bluetick Coonhound (AKC/UKC registered). Rescued from a hunter at 8 months old because she had no interest in running with the pack, she much prefers being your best friend! Though she is two, Pepper still has the joyful, goofy energy of a puppy. She is an absolute sweetheart whose favorite thing is fetch—she’ll happily chase a ball until she is completely exhausted! Pepper can be skittish and takes a minute to warm up to new faces, but her lovable hound personality shines once she trusts you. She currently lives happily with a 5- and 7-year-old. Because she matches the room's energy and plays rough if pushed too far, she’d do best with dog-savvy kids who respect boundaries. She also lives with four other dogs! She loves playing, but her enthusiastic style means she sometimes misses cues when they've had enough. She’d thrive with a highly tolerant, energetic dog sibling, or as your spoiled only pet.
