Story
This guy is shy but sweet. He was born into a hoarding situation with about 26 other dogs. He was never outside untill we took him, but is doing very well with potty training. He gets along well with other dogs. This guy will need someone who has patience and understands that everything outside is new to him. Another dog would help him a lot. Although he wouldn't hurt a kid, they may be scary to him. He has no history with cats so he is a blank slate. Slow and steady wins his heart.**Please fill out an application found on our website under "adopt a pet" and send it in to start adoption process.**All Dog Adoption Fee's are $175 Cats are $100Includes initial Vaccinations, De-Worming, Flea Meds, Heartworm Testing, & Spay/Neuter

Story
Weight: 84LBS ATTENTION ALL HOUND LOVERS!!!! Meet Zero– the unofficial playground supervisor of the dog yard. This Treeing Walker Coonhound mix is here to keep things fair, fun, and fully monitored. If other pups get too rowdy, Zero doesn’t bark – oh no – he makes his signature sound, which is somewhere between a kazoo, a goose honk, and a car that won’t start. It’s hilarious, slightly judgmental, and 100% effective. Zero is the definition of a classic hound dog—guided by his incredible sense of smell and a heart full of adventure. If there’s a scent in the air, you can bet Zero is already on the case. His tracking skills are unmatched, and he approaches every walk like a mission, tail high and nose to the ground. Zero enjoys exploring new places, following scent trails, and using that brilliant hound brain of his. Enrichment activities, sniffari-style walks, and puzzle feeders are some of his favorite ways to spend the day. Whether he’s trotting through the yard or investigating every corner of the neighborhood, life with Zero is never boring. Zero can also be protective of his food, so Zero will need an adopter committed to slow introductions, structure, and a safe mealtime routine. With consistency and respect for his boundaries. He will also thrive in a home with lots of energy. Dogs: Bring all pooches in to meet this pup! Cats: The staff highly recommends no to cats for this guy. Kids: All kids in the home must come in and meet. Including grandkids.

Weight: 15LBS Meet Expa! Named after our legendary playgroup Rockstar “Expo,” Expa is here to carry on the legacy — mostly by never sitting still long enough for anyone to doubt her star power. This hound mix is a certified wiggle queen, a zoomie professional, and an all-around chaos cutie. If you want a girl with energy, personality, and absolutely no interest in staying still… Expa’s ready to rock your world! The one thing we all can agree on is that puppies are adorable. They're ready to give you unconditional love and all the snuggles your heart can handle. We really want to make sure that you've thought beyond their undeniable cuteness. Puppies need structure and training. They only know what we teach them. When you adopt from Humane FW, you'll receive two group setting puppy training classes that will teach you basic puppy manners. This will give you and your new best friend a head start on bonding.

Story
Weight: 62Lbs Hulk – Age 4. Half tree-walking coonhound, half mystery. Don’t let the name fool you — instead of smashing, this Hulk prefers sniffing... everything. Got a ball? Great! He’ll charge at it like he’s saving the world — then stop dramatically, sniff the air like it insulted his ancestors, and walk away like the mysterious hero he is. His “bark”? Not so much a bark as it is a deep, confused sound, like a foghorn trying to speak whale. It's less “ARF!” and more “WUUUHHH?” — truly the sonic weapon of the dogvengers. No, he doesn’t fetch. That’s beneath him. He’s an Avenger, not an intern. Likes: Long sniffs in the park, mysterious sounds, and ignoring commands with heroic flair. Dislikes: Fetch, subtlety, and probably Loki. Earth’s Mightiest Sniffer. Bark weird. Smell strong. Fetch never. Dogs: I would do best as the only pup! Cats: Unknown Kids: Unknown! bring all kiddos in to meet this senior guy!!
