This Lil Girl is very unique. With her merle coat that perfectly splits down the center of her face, to her independent personality. Lil Girl came into our care in Oct 2025 as a stray by Animal Control and was not reclaimed by her owners. Now she is looking for a family who will take her on outdoor adventures where she can observe all around her, and relax. She does like other dogs, but would be just fine by herself. She walks perfect on a leash, is up to date on vaccinations, prevention, microchipped, heartworm negative, and spayed. Do you need a calm girl in your life?

Meet Russell, a 2 year old coonhound/treeing walker mix whose happy spirit is as big as his floppy ears. This outgoing fellow found his way to HSSM on August 20th, 2025, after being picked up as a stray in Saucier, and he’s been charming everyone ever since. In true hound fashion, Russell has a nose for adventure and a love of life’s little discoveries. Brisk walks are his favorite pastime, especially when there are new scents to follow and corners to explore. He’s a perfect walking partner, gliding beside you like a gentleman on his leash, and he never misses a chance to make a new friend. Russell’s playful side really shines when he has another canine buddy to romp and run with. He’s already mastered “sit,” and his eagerness to learn, especially when treats are involved, makes him a quick study for any new tricks you’d like to teach. This handsome hound is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered upon adoption if not already. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun loving companion to join your adventures (and your couch for snuggles afterward), Russell is ready to nose his way right into your heart.
