This outgoing fellow found his way to HSSM on August 20th, 2025, after being picked up as a stray in Saucier, and he’s been charming everyone ever since. In true hound fashion, Russell has a nose for adventure and a love of life’s little discoveries. Brisk walks are his favorite pastime, especially when there are new scents to follow and corners to explore. He’s a perfect walking partner, gliding beside you like a gentleman on his leash, and he never misses a chance to make a new friend. Russell’s playful side really shines when he has another canine buddy to romp and run with. He’s already mastered “sit,” and his eagerness to learn, especially when treats are involved, makes him a quick study for any new tricks you’d like to teach. This handsome hound is fully vetted, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and will be neutered upon adoption if not already.
