Story
Lincoln is an amazing dog. We adopted him when he was 1 year old at the humane society. We loved him and cared for him so well. When we had kids, then opened up a family business, we found him more and more to be an inconvenience and don't have the time to love and care for him like he needs. He is INCREDIBLE around our toddlers. They poke and prod him and he doesn't react. He has never had a bad reaction to people or children. His three faults are: 1.He's a runner. He doesn't look to run anymore but if a door is left open, he will wander away. 2. He pulls horribly on walks. We have tried to train him professionally but nothing sticks. He also barks wildly at other dogs while on a leash, and certainly gets protective around agressive dogs. He would probably do fine in another dog home, but would do best on his own. 3. He has allergies in the summer. His hair gets patchy if he doesn't get bathed. He is a great dog. Friendly and a lover. He would do well in a home with kids.

Story
Blue is a 5 year old female blue tick coon hound mix. She is a shy and !oving dog and wants a master who will be at home with her most of the time. She has had some separation anxiety when left alone, but a big yard would cure that. Blue prefers adults and young adults. She wants to be the only dog in the house. Because of her breed ,we don't think cats would be a good idea. A big yard and acreage would be a great place for her. Or a nice big yard. Blue is house trained. Blue has become very sad lately because she hasn't found a home that works for her. She is a large dog that needs a home. Her beauty doesn't come through in photos. This is a dog that has a beautiful coat with markings. Call 402 846 5100. Please fill out an application at 12hillsdogrescue.org Her adoption fee has been paid.
