Story
Willow is a 7 year old blue tick. She has reactivity issues that have continued to get worse as she gets older. We have tried several different trainers, she has been checked for medical issues etc and the reactivity has not improved. I have reached out to friends and family with no luck in rehoming her. I am returning to work soon and need to rehome her. She is not UTD on rabies vaccine as she has tried to bite the vet a number of times and is very difficult to take out of the house due to her reactivity. She would be best being the only animal. She does not interact well with other dogs and chases smaller animals like cats etc. She is not kennel trained and broke several kennels while trying to kennel train her. She needs to be kept out of the main living area when alone as she will tear furniture, blankets, pillows or anything else left out. She has never actually bitten anyone but has tried to bite in the past.

Abby is a gorgeous 6.5-year-old Labrador Retriever and Bluetick Coonhound mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet girl originally came to us at Stray Haven from North Carolina in 2021. Sadly, she recently found her way back to the shelter after her previous adopter passed away, and now she's searching for a new, permanent family to cherish her.Abby is quite the social butterfly and has so much love to give. She'll thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention and share all her amazing energy!The Ideal Home for AbbyDog Friends: Abby can be a little choosy about her canine companions.
