Meet Doc 🐶💙 Doc is an approximately 4 year old coonhound mix with a huge heart and an even bigger love for attention. He is a lovable, affectionate boy who truly enjoys being close to his people and will happily nose his way in if you are petting another dog. Doc is crate trained and continuing to work on house training. He knows how to use a doggie door and is making great progress. He had some marking behaviors early on, which have improved significantly with structure and routine. He is very dog friendly and loves to play with other dogs. Doc has not been tested with cats and has only lived with adult children, but his sweet and gentle nature suggests he would likely do well with respectful kids. He appears to have lived mostly outdoors or in a one story home before rescue, but he has now discovered the couch and loves settling in right next to his person. He recently conquered the staircase and continues to gain confidence every day. Doc is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Adoption Fee $200 local in Texas $450 out of state with transport included 🚐

I am almost 4 year old Catahoula mix :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! My name is Ursula and I was found on the side of the road with my sister, Ariel, in the cold and we were scared... However, found on the road was our biggest stroke of luck! Because we have been hanging around in our foster home in the warmth, with lots of FOOD and TOYS and LOVE! You know, I am named "Tuffy" but what if I am just a "Softy"?? I am an active and sweet boy and I am kind of a goofball, too. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG puppy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or letting me into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home, so here I am, looking all buff- if you ask me :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I have time on my hands and I am a playful and fun kind of pup. BIG puppy- 65# and growing :) I am learning my manners and am making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME!
