Story
&#239&#184&#143Say hello to Affection What this little girl lacks in the size of her body she certainly makes up for in the size of her personality. She was born 10/28/25 and weighs about 8 lb. We believe she is a bluetick coonhound beagle mix. She is a pro at doing potty on her pee pads and is working hard on potty training crate training and walking on a leash. She loves the resident dogs and kids and anyone else she meets. Affection definitely lives up to her name when it comes to cuddles. The only thing she loves more than playing with her toys Is being held. When you pick her up she rests her head on your shoulder as if she's giving you a hug. If you're wearing a sweater or a scarf she tries to nuzzle her head inside of that too. Believe it or not this little bundle of adorable is still looking for a place to call her furever home! Story
Hi, my name is Antler. I am a 14 pound, Male, Blue tick Coon Hound. I made my way from Tennessee to foster mama in NJ and I am adjusting well. I am full of energy and very playful, but at the same time I like to cozy up to the humans and nap. We are working on my potty training and I’m not doing too bad, still a little work to be done. After all, it has only been 1 day but I’m following the lead of my foster sister, which I LOVE btw, so I will get there. I am grateful for my foster mama, but I am dreaming of my furever home. Can you make that happen for me ! January 11, 2026, 3:29 pm

Story
Say hello to Advent! This chubby little guy was born on 10/28/25 and currently weighs about 12 lb. We think he is a bluetick coonhound beagle mix but you never know for sure. This handsome boy has the most beautiful pattern with solid spots and a Merle like background of black Gray white and Brown. I'd say his favorite thing in the world is toys. He will play with just about anything but and couldn't be cuter when he does. He is really good at keeping potty on the pee pads and is working hard at potty training crate training and on leash walking. Advent is such a lover boy. He wants Cuddles and love all the time and gives the best ones if I might add! All he needs is his forever family. Apply for Advent now at www.eastcoastcanine.org January 14, 2026, 7:02 pm

Story
Rosie is our sweet, anxious rescue TWC, from a shelter in Maine, 1.5 years old when we adopted in 2017. She's 10 years old but her breed's life expectancy is 16. In good health, very active still. She was picked up by animal control in the woods but had lived in a home of some sort. May have been trauma before adoption. She's been trained on recall (best using an e-collar with occasional refreshers) as she's had multiple stays with an experienced trainer. Food aggression- we have to keep all food out of reach, she will try to steal anything left out and may guard it and bite. She is also territorial with new people so we have to introduce them carefully, with a short list of people who can come in unannounced/unmanaged. We have a 2-year old, we have to manage them carefully, she has snapped at him and we are worried she will bite him, the main reason for rehoming. Her food aggression has gotten worse, now she often guards her own food after feeding. Needs experienced owner.

Story
adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months       Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will  make a wonderful  member of the family.    Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! For more information on adopting any of our Wags dogs please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com      July 24, 2025, 7:42 am

Story
Sweet 7 month old Cosmo is 45lbs of love, fun and companionship who is looking for his forever home and sure to make you laugh. He is a hound through and through, he can sniff and explore with the best of them! If you are in the market for a hiking buddy, this is your boy! Cosmo would love an active family who will take him exploring, and it would be a bonus for him if there was another family dog, Cosmo really loves having his foster brothers and sisters around! While he loves everyone he meets, his foster mom describes him as a "dog's dog", he is currently living with 5 dogs of all sizes and a cat. When he is not playing with his doggy buddies or on the trail of some great scent in the back yard, he is cuddled up with his people or in his favorite lounge chair with a bone. Cosmo does really like children but given his age and hound energy, we feel he is better suited to families with older children. Cosmo is crate and housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. If you would like to make Cosmo a member of your family, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com
