MEET "REBA & BRYN" TEXAS, HOUSTON LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS EMAIL: BigPawsK9FosterHouse@gmail.com AVAILABLE FOR: FOSTER, FOSTER TO ADOPT/ADOPTION NAME: "REBA & BRYN" BONDED PAIR DOB: REBA 8/31/2024, BRYN 7/6/25 BREED: TREE WALKING HOUND X GREAT PYRENEES MIX GENDER: FEMALE & MALE (SIBLINGS FROM DIFFERENT LITTER) SIZE: LARGE NOTES: Reba & Bryn come from a pack of 24 living in a national forest north of Houston. An amazing person saw something and said something. We were able to take Bryn in quickly to get him the vet care he needed for his knee and hips. Reba was the last one pulled from the forest from the pack on March 21 2026. once Reba decompressed we re-introduced her and Bryn and it was truly a beautiful sight. It was like they were so happy to see eachother safe and asking each other how they got here. The 2 of them light up when they see each other. Reba is gentle with Bryn and his hind legs when they play and they snuggle up to each other inside. They are both amazing with all other dogs & respectful children. HEALTH: GOOD- Bryn had reconstructive knee surgery (Injury from being born in the forest) I will consider him a "forever foster" to ensure he gets the proper vet care he may need in the future if anything comes up for him. The adoption process will be the same and he will belong to you. they are up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered, on monthly prevention. Reba is heartworm + but is doing wonderful on slow kill treatment.Bryn is heartworm - Negative ------------------------------------------------ Ground transport assistance may be available within 1K miles depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route. MEET "FINLEY" TEXAS, HOUSTON LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS EMAIL: BigPawsK9FosterHouse@gmail.com AVAILABLE FOR: FOSTER TO ADOPT/ADOPTION NAME: "FINLEY" DOB: 12/5/24 BREED: ANATOLIAN SHEPHERD CATAHOULA MIX GENDER: FEMALE SIZE: LARGE HEALTH: GOOD NOTES: Finley is a stunning blend of gentleness and intelligence, with a calm confidence that draws you in. At 1.5 years old, this Anatolian Shepherd/Catahoula mix already shows the wisdom and poise of a natural-born leader—but don’t worry, she’s just as loving and clever as she is independent. Finley is wonderful with kids and other dogs, and she’s already demonstrating great manners: she keeps her kennel room clean and potties outside using a doggy door like a pro. As with many Anatolians, Finley has a strong sense of self and prefers a life with structure and respectful leadership. She will thrive with a kind but confident handler who understands the breed’s instincts and values her thoughtful, steady nature. If you're looking for a loyal companion with both heart and brains—someone who will walk beside you, not behind—Finley might just be your perfect match. Finley and her siblings came into this world under heartbreaking circumstances. Their momma, an Anatolian Shepherd, was tragically hit and killed by a car while roaming the streets when the puppies were just 3 weeks old. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan stepped in and reached out for help, and now these resilient pups are thriving together and living their best lives. ------------------------------------------------ Ground transport assistance may be available within 1K miles depending on where you live and the availability of volunteer drivers along the route.
