Recently rescued Betsy from a shelter. She is a great dog, but does not get a long with our cat. She needs a house with no cats. Not sure how she would be around other dogs. She is house trained and crate trained. She is young, around one year old. She has been walking well on a leash but does pull as all hounds do. She needs a decent size yard and walks. She is all hound. She has a very loud bay and follows her nose.

This has been a very difficult decision to rehome our girl, Duchess. She is an incredibly sweet natured coonhound, very maternal and protective of chickens, cats, and young children, all of which she is around daily. She has a very loving temperament and has been a truly loved addition to our family. However with a third baby on the way and relocating to a smaller home we are hoping to find a better scenario for her were she gets the attention and space she needs.She was originally purchased from a reputable purebred breeder H3 Canine Kennels, and she is UKC certified purebred. We have spent extensive time training her and she is responsive to commands, kennel trained, and listens when called. She is about 75- 80lbs or so which is large for a female blue tick, but very gentle temperament. Behaves indoors and outdoors and really does have a special personality. Silly, sweet, and so ready for snuggles and pets.
