Brandy was picked up as a stray when she was very young, and it became obvious right away that this pretty girl had a rough start. Whatever she has gone through, it has made her scared of everything. She is an example of a dog that should not be in a shelter. She really needs a loving a home where she can feel safe and loved. At this time she is scare of her shadow and we need to find her a home, a patient, quiet home where she can start to feel comfortable in her own skin. Brandy is good around other dogs but we would not recommend her for a busy, active home with lots of people or children. She really needs a patient home where she can feel loved and comfortable and become more socialized to new people and places. If you have a big heart for helping those who really need the time and attention, meeting this girl may be right up your alley.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Our goal is to have all adopted animals spayed/neutered, vaccinated (to include rabies), and micro-chipped. Completion of all these procedures at time of adoption will be dependent on the animal's age and intake date. Specifics will be identified within the adoption contract.
