Dax is a four-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with all the charm and warmth of a good old country boy. At about 70 pounds, he’s a big, handsome hound who wears his heart on his sleeve—and isn’t shy about showing it with big, sloppy kisses. He’s treat-motivated, eager to please, and loves spending time with people. When you talk to him, he tilts his head just so, as if he’s hanging on your every word. Out on a walk, Dax is easy on the leash and happy to take in the world at your side. Along the way, he greets every dog with friendly tail wags and a calm, gentle energy that makes him a pleasure to be around. Dax is the kind of dog who just makes you feel good—steady, affectionate, and full of heart. He’d be a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal friend to share long walks, quiet moments, and plenty of love.

Meet Boomer! Boomer is a stunning 6–7-year-old Bluetick Coonhound with a classic hound look and a heart ready for a new beginning. Weighing around 75 pounds, he's a big guy who's currently on a diet to slim down a bit and feel his best. Boomer is dog-friendly and loves people, but he’s absolutely not a fan of cats—he's a little too interested in them for comfort. He came to us as a stray and likely lived a life of hunting, but those days are behind him. Boomer is more than ready for the good life: soft beds, long naps, and a family to call his own. He came to Saving Webster Dogs in September 2024 and has been patiently waiting for his forever home ever since. Now living in a foster home, Boomer is doing well and showing what a sweet, laid-back companion he can be. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving hound with plenty of life left and a deep appreciation for home comforts, Boomer might be the one.
