✨️ Meet Harley, a golden-hearted senior looking for a soft place to land. ✨️His journey with us began when his loving mom had to move into a seniors residence that couldn't accommodate dogs. It was a heartbreaking decision for her 💔, but made out of pure love and the hope that Harley would find a family who could continue giving him the comfort and care he deserves.Harley is now on the lookout for a foster-to-adopt home to help him through the last stretch of his weight-loss journey - just under five pounds to go before he's ready for his dental procedure. Dental health matters for dogs too! 🦷🐾This boy's personality is an easy blend of calm, steady, and quietly charming. He gets along beautifully with every dog he meets, even if he can't help offering a few barks when dogs pass by on his walks. Speaking of walks, he loves them - and would happily go for more (though we get that winter makes that a bit more challenging ❄️). He's also a big fan of car rides and will gladly hop in for whatever adventure you have in mind.Harley's bedtime routine is one of his sweetest quirks; he's used to sleeping at the foot of his person's bed, and in foster care he's continued that tradition without missing a beat. A comfy dog bed near yours is all he needs to settle in and snooze peacefully. He'll also play with toys when encouraged, and once he gets going, he gets adorably vocal about how much fun he's having 🎾.Harley is simply hoping for a home that will cheer him on, help him finish his weight-loss goals, and give him the gentle, loving environment every senior deserves.
