Spud was rescued from the West Valley Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his suspected former owner. He arrived with a microchip, an unkempt and matted coat and long overgrown nails — but despite his rough condition, Spud greeted shelter staff with a wagging tail and a happy heart. Estimated to be around 10 years old and weighing 10 lbs, Spud has had his beauty makeover and is a spunky little gentleman who’s settling beautifully into his foster home. His cheerful spirit shines through, and he’s already won everyone over with his sweet, happy go lucky demeanor. He even enjoyed his very first pup cup the moment he left the shelter, slurping it down in minutes! Spud got an A+ on his bloodwork, his heart and lungs sound good and he’s got one tooth left in his mouth! He does have a sensitive trachea if too much pressure is applied in that area. Spud is pee pad trained and loves playing with his toys, especially with his ball. He happily keeps himself entertained and he loves going for adventures and walks too. Spud is now getting the care he’s long overdue and is ready to start the next chapter of his life with a family who will treasure him. He’s the perfect mix of mellow senior charm and joyful personality. Spud's adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter, microchip, vaccines/deworming/flea treatment current. This handsome boy is as lovely on the inside as he is on the outside. Luxe is well-mannered in the home, fully housebroken, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’d be happiest in a home with another friendly pup to keep him company, and he absolutely adores belly rubs and snuggle time with his humans. He will happily greet you at the doorway wagging his little nubby tail. His coat will continue to grow in and will need regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling his best. Because he’s a gentle, sensitive soul, Luxe would do best in a quieter home with less coming and going. Thankfully, the vet didn’t give up on him, and now this little survivor is officially a Lovebug! Bennie has settled beautifully into his foster home and has proven to be a spunky, chatty little guy with a big personality. He’s gregarious, playful, smart, and incredibly human-oriented — the kind of puppy who wants to be right in the mix of whatever you’re doing. He enjoys stroller walks with the other dogs and happily rides along in the car in his carrier. He’s social, curious, and loves being part of the action. Bennie is currently about 14 weeks old and just 5 lbs. He will likely mature in the 10 – 15 lb range when full grown. His coat will require regular upkeep and grooming as it continues to grow in. If you’re looking for a bright, outgoing, people-loving pup with lots of character, Bennie just might be the one to wiggle his way into your heart!
