He found his way to the shelter after needing emergency surgery for swallowing a toy, and while he is healing well, he will need lifelong supervision to keep him safe. Finn cannot have free access to toys or household items he may chew or swallow. Finn is a high-energy dog who will thrive with an active adopter committed to training and structure. He still needs help learning basic manners and benefits from consistent boundaries and routine. He can become protective of his people around other dogs, so careful introductions and continued training will be important. Because Finn likes to chew and explore with his mouth, he will need to be leash-walked only and closely supervised at all times. He is best suited for an experienced home that understands management, training, and the needs of an energetic doodle breed. With patience, structure, and the right guidance, Finn has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion.
