1⃣ Health Condition
* Spayed.
* Microchipped, currently undergoing heartworm treatment, retest scheduled for anaplasma, and dental scaling completed.
* Suffered from a skin condition when first rescued. Although she is now fully recovered, her fur is still in the process of growing back.
2⃣ Rescue Story
* Miso was rescued from a hoarder's house in Gimje along with her two puppies and moved to the Gimje City Shelter. At the time, she was suffering from severe bedsores that were left untreated. During a particularly long Chuseok holiday period last year, her care became even more difficult, leading Adogs to step in for an emergency rescue to provide the medical attention she desperately needed. Sadly, one of her puppies passed away, but the other puppy, #AdogsCh찹쌀(Chapsal), has already found a forever home. Now, Miso is waiting for her own forever family at our center.
3⃣ Basic Information
* With People: Can be a bit shy with strangers at first, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up! Once she’s comfortable, she is very affectionate and loves to sleep right by your side.
* With Dogs: Generally gets along well with other dogs at our center without much conflict. However, she feels a bit uncomfortable around overly energetic or pushy dogs.
* With Cats: Her reaction to cats is unknown as she hasn't had a proper introduction yet.
* Separation Anxiety: Unknown at this time since she is currently living in a group environment at our center.
* Potty Training: Mostly uses pee pads, though occasional accidents happen. May need consistent training when starting life in a home environment.
* Hygiene: Was a bit uneasy when getting her nails clipped at the vet, but it was manageable without great difficulty.
* Walks: Due to her ongoing heartworm treatment, she hasn't had any walking experiences yet.
* Car Sickness: Did not show any signs of motion sickness during the car ride from the rescue site to the hospital.
* No history of biting. May occasionally growl if she feels uncomfortable.
* Absolutely loves treats, which makes it very easy to bond with her!
* Gets wary if someone approaches or tries to pick her up too suddenly. Feels uncomfortable when forced to do something, though she tends to be patient. Also dislikes it when other dogs get too close to her personal space.
