Story
Paloma was with my daughtes family for 6 years and me for 3. We are guessing she was with her other family for for 2. She acts and looks younger and keeping her weight at 18lbs has helped. A little arthritis in back knee is her only physical problem. Her breed lives long and strong. Sometimes 18 or more years. She takes gabapentine for inflamation. She has had many teeth pulled and has lovely breath and still able to gnaw on bones and dry food. Loves softened apples and pumpkin puree. She's use to being the only pet in the home. She likes being #1. Her cute breed is typically a little anxious. She has been well taken care of. She does not shed and has beautiful hair. Given her choice, she would eat all the time. She likes play wrestling and walks with lots of smelling breaks. A mature and kind caregiver will be best.

Story
We adopted Jack from the Humane Society seven years ago. He is 11 years old and very sweet. Our family is growing and he is not very friendly to small children, so we need to find a new home for him. He is very calm, loves to cuddle, food motivated, and friendly. He has an old injury to one of his hind legs that does not bother him, but causes him to rely on his other 3 legs. He is a great dog!!

Story
Jasper is a rescue out of California. When we met him, he was sweet, and quiet. He is a happy, bouncy galloping fellow. He prances as he trots, and will leap over garden hoses! We wanted a dog friend for our 15 yr old dog who is blind, and almost deaf, who likes dog companionship. Jasper is High Energy (we didn’t see that the first month) and knocks over our little 5 pounder in his enthusiasm! He leaps up onto furniture, and chews through leashes in seconds! Jasper wants attention and companionship, loves to share beds with dog or humans. He’s super playful. He needs a fenced yard and can leap 5 ft fence! Jasper is too much for us. We are in our 70’s. He weighs about 8 1/2 pounds. He’s about 3 years old. He’s catching on to schedules and being house trained. He sits and lays down on command. We’ll send him with his fav toys, his harness, fav blankie, and treats.
