Beauty is a 3-year-old indoor cat with a gentle, calm personality. She’s the quieter of the two sisters and can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe she’s very sweet and affectionate. She loves being nearby, lounging comfortably, and enjoying quiet attention. She’s been raised indoors in a calm home and does great with other cats. Beauty is closely bonded to her sister, Shadow, and they rely on each other for comfort, so they need to stay together. Beauty would do best in a low-stress home with someone patient who appreciates a soft, loving cat that warms up over time.

Story
Shadow came into my life through a rehoming situation and has been a quiet, steady presence ever since. She’s a 3 year old spayed, indoor only cat who is fully up to date on her vaccines. Shadow has a gentle soul. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe and settled, she forms a deep bond and shows just how affectionate and loving she truly is. She’s never aggressive or bitey, and she does wonderfully with other cats, often finding comfort simply being near them. She thrives in calm, low stress environments where she can observe, explore at her own pace, and slowly build trust. Shadow especially loves interactive play like laser pointers and toy mice, and she enjoys quiet moments lounging nearby or watching the world from a safe spot. Due to an unexpected apartment flood, my life circumstances have changed quickly, and I now have to relocate and travel extensively. Making the decision to rehome Shadow has been incredibly difficult, but my priority is ensuring she has a home.

Meet Licorice! Licorice is a loving, timid 4-month-old girl with a gentle heart and a big desire to bond with her person. She adores her cat donut bed and happily entertains herself with toys, but her favorite place is stretched out on your lap soaking up all the love she can get.   She’s not a fan of taking medicine, but with a little patience—and laying her gently on her back—she will take it without a fuss. Licorice needs someone who understands cat behavior and can help her blossom at her own pace.  Her fur is soft like velvet!   With consistency and affection, Licorice will grow into an incredibly loyal and loving companion. She just needs someone willing to earn her trust—and she’ll give her whole heart in return. ##2587548##

Meet Skippy   Skippy is a 2-year-old Bombay mix whose life took a terrifying turn when animal control received a call about a cat with his leg caught in a bear trap. Facing euthanasia, Skippy was given a second chance when ArkanPaws Animal Rescue stepped in and rushed him straight to the vet, where his front leg was amputated to save his life.   And here’s the amazing part—Skippy doesn’t even know he has only three legs.   This resilient boy is playful, loving, and oh-so-sweet. He enjoys affection but also has an independent streak that makes him an easy companion. Skippy gets along well with other cats and dogs with proper introductions and would thrive in a home that appreciates his gentle spirit and survivor’s heart.   Skippy has been through more than any cat ever should, yet he greets the world with joy and confidence.
