Batman was the son of a barn cat, born May 2009. He has all black fur that looks brown in the sunlight and bright curious yellow eyes. He enjoys long soaks in the sunbeams and meowing at birds out open windows. He is highly social and has held his own with our dog of 6 years. He is curious but largely disinterested in our toddler and is very tolerant of the toddler’s sporadic behavior. Unfortunately we just had our second child and acquired another dog, a Jack Russell terrior, that barks and goes after Batman any time he is seen or heard that requires us to keep them separated. Batman currently lives in our basement for his safety after years of being part of the familh and I have deep concerns for his wellbeing as we cannot rehome the dog. We also don’t have time to devote to his care long term with the new baby and two other dogs. He is a senior cat but does not show it. He is young at heart and just wants to live in the main living space of a comfortable, loving home again.

We took her in as a stray, she was so tiny I was worried she wouldn’t make it outside, we live right next to a road. I thought our living situation would change sooner and we’d have more room for her but it has not and now she’s trapped in a room lonely all the time because we have a giant dog who likes to eat cats. She is miserable and I have lots of things for her but it’s not the same as being able to roam free, it’s not how she’s meant to live, nor any animal. She is the biggest lover and is so relaxed all the time, she is INCREDIBLY good with kids, easily the most patient cat with them I have ever seen. I am also unsure of her breed.
