Story
Simpson is a sweet, gentle 3½-year-old cat that I adopted from a farm in Vermont. He currently has 5 other siblings in his home and gets along very well with all of them. Over the past two years he has experienced recurring intermittent vomiting and inflammation, which may be related to stress and I believe a fair degree of boredom being an indoor cat. His favorite thing to do is sit on my 2nd story porch in the warm weather and watch the birds and this long winter has been rough for him. Ideally, I would love to place him with an attentive caregiver in a home where he has more access to the sights and sounds of nature and possibly more stimulation from people and activity than he receives now. I am working with a specialist to help treat his medical issues and he needs to be transitioned on a special diet which is also difficult with multiple cats in the home. If I can find the ideal situation for him, it would really mean a lot to me to find him a place where he may thrive.
