Story
I am a cat rescuer and Sebastian was a feral cat I captured 2 years ago that showed up at my home. I had never tried to train a feral cat, so I thought I could domesticate him into the family of 6 domesticated cats I have. He is fine with the cats when I get everyone in for feeding, but he will run all of the cats away outside and fights with them. He is very territorial. He would be a great pet if he is the only outside cat. He will follow you around like a dog and is very loving (lap cat for sure). He sleeps on my shoulder with his head on my pillow. I love him, but I can't sacrifice all 6 cats for him anymore. He likes to play--and is still a little rough (very sharp claws.) I was hoping he could be incorporated, but it just isn't working. He is about 4 years old.

Story
James has had significant trauma in his younger life. His tail seems to have been broken as well as white fur on his hip with bald patch in the center. Front paws were declawed. He doesn’t jump on counters, tables. Good bathroom behavior & healthy. While he will enjoy sitting on your lap he does not tolerate being picked up. Being around other animals is very difficult for James all of life is scary or dangerous in his mind. He suffers from anxiety, is very skittish, but loves to sit on lap and can be quite affectionate. He is best in a calm home. His last home had a screened in sunroom he enjoyed then they moved to a new home where it was not safe or possible for him to go outside. I happily took him in with a balcony he could come and go safely. I have moved and no longer have a balcony. Not being able to come & go freely, enjoy fresh air & sunshine at will has increased his anxiety. James has been seen by a Vet. Pheromones & Calming cat treats have helped.
