Story
Meet this pretty girl named Clips! She came in as a stray on October 30, 2023 and was never reclaimed so she’s now awaiting her adoption day. She is 1 year old, current on shots and already spayed (ear tip some folks who have outside cats do this so people are aware they are cared for and altered). She’s is solid black and beautiful and loves to be loved on. Just a sweetheart who deserves to have a great life with a loving FOREVER person or family. Maybe you’re the perfect person for Clips. A few tips for cats. They love to climb so having climbing post is always extra awesome for them and one with a scratching post on some part is great. Keeping your kitties nails trimmed back every ~4 weeks helps reduce their need to scratch to file them back. May require 2 people…one hold and loving cat while another clips the tips of the nails. Toys…the more the merrier. The arts and crafts “pipe cleaners” are inexpensive and bend to different shapes and they love kicking them around…so many toys for kitties. Also cats do great often in pairs…always a friend for company…especially kittens. Stop by for a visit with Clips today and adopt her into your heart and home! We have SO MANY cats & kittens arriving daily that it is hard to keep our Adopt-a-Pet as up to date as we would like. So please, COME TO THE SHELTER and meet some of the wonderful cats that are up for adoption and open up your home to one or more kitties today! If you adopt a cat that is not already spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to help cover the cost of the surgery, and some vets honor the voucher 100%! Such a great deal -- while also saving a life!! All of our cats are tested for FIV as well as Feline Leukemia before being placed up for adoption. Not quite ready for the commitment of adoption but would love to contribute to the health and happiness of our feline fur babies? We'd very much appreciate some litter, or food (especially kitten food - Purina is their favorite!). Maybe you will have some time to snuggle and love on them while you're here. It makes their time here more enjoyable when they get extra love & attention. Also, we need volunteers & foster homes! Come to the shelter to apply! The shelter hours are Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm (we close from 1pm-2pm for lunch), and Saturday 10am-4pm. Hope to see you soon!
