Let's create our cozy corner in this big world together.Note from Paws humans: Echo came to us when his owner became homeless and was thus unable to care for him.  He had been with the man for nine years, so he was understandably confused at finding himself in an animal shelter with a number of other cats.  We're a free-roaming shelter, and once cats have been in a room for a few days we open the cage so they can come and go as they please.  Echo spent the first few weeks in his room (the Kool Katz room) on top of the big cage where he could see everything that was happening and still feel safe.  As he has adjusted he's now coming down and sleeping on the cat trees like his roommates.  Even when he was hanging out on top of the cage, he loved it when we would climb on a chair and pet him.  He'd come over right away for some loving.  He's a very sweet boy who just wants a forever home.  To apply to adopt any of our cats or kittens, please visit our website and fill out our on-line application at https://www.pawsurbana.org/apply-to-adopt.

I’ve been taking care of A’raya since she was a little nugget who could barely walk. She’s verrrry talkative, loves to play and run around and is practically attached to your hip. She lovesss to eat, my girl has a bottomless stomach. Unfortunately the apartment I will be moving into at the end of the month does not lease with pets, my older cat is an exception beacuse he has an esa letter. When I took her in it was temporary but she ended up staying. She’s great with kids, babies and seniors(She lovessss my nana) lol. Unfortunately she does not get along with other Cats. I’ve tried introducing them while she was still young even though I had my cats here, but I’ve had friends bring theirs over and she’s very hostile about it so she would definitely need to be in a one cat household same with dogs, she’s not mean just very scared. She’s been litterbox trained since 3 days after she got here! She doesn’t have any “bad behaviors” other than her incessant need to rip up plastic😂
