Story
We are looking for a good home to take in our family cat Binx. We recently welcomed a baby girl to our family and Binx has become territorial. We’ve been letting him stay outside which has helped but now he is starting to venture to our neighbors and pee in their gardens. I adopted Binx as a kitten 8 years ago and he has been a very good friend. He is very sweet and cuddly, good with our dog and does well around children. I have truly tried everything to make the situation work but we feel it will be best for our family and for his own well being to find a loving home where he can enjoy his remaining life. We are willing to keep him as long as need be and willing to set up visits here for anyone to come meet him.

Story
Meet Piadora! When Pia's owner, who rescued her from the streets of Oakland, passed away last year, she was left with nowhere to go. Over the past 5 months in foster, she's come a long way. At the beginning, Pia would hide in the deepest parts of her foster home, only venturing out at night or to eat. Lots of trust-building and slow socialization has brought her out of her shell and into the open. Though she is still wary of some strangers and loud noises, she warms up quickly and even runs to the door when she sees her fosters approaching. She loves to come into the bedroom in the morning to cuddle and lay on her fosters' chests and gives kisses and head nudges to anyone who is kind to her. Like a lot of cats, she wants to be picked up on her own terms and will gently let you know when it's too much. Pia, being a senior kitty, is pretty relaxed... until her catnip banana toy comes out and her playfulness shows! Important to note: Pia had stomatitis some time ago and she came into foster with no teeth. Her fosters only feed her wet food but could be introduced to dry food. She was also diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. With medication, her thyroid levels have moved into normal range and can easily be managed. Piadora is around 7.5 years old, spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, and tested FIV/FeLV negative.

Story
Meet Remy 🧡 Remy is a quirky, big ginger boy who will fill your heart, and probably your couch, with his size and personality. He’s a chunky, fun-loving cat who loves ear rubs. And no, seriously, we’re talking aggressive ear rubs! Once he gets comfortable with you, don’t be surprised when you eventually wake up to find him snuggled in bed beside you. Remy can be a little skittish at times, but we’ve always chalked that up to his quirky personality. He also loves the sound of his own meow. If you have a basement or a big open room where he can hear himself echo, there’s a good chance it’ll become one of his favorite places to hang out and sing you the song of his people. We’ve had Remy since 2017, when he was about a year old. He’s spent his entire life with three other cats and gets along well with them. He’s also lived with our dog and our son and does great with both. With baby #2 on the way, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to look for a home that can give Remy the sp

Story
Django is such a sweet cat, but his true calling is serving as a Barn Cat. He needs to be in a rural area, outside mostly, running free, meowing as loud as he wants to. We found him as a baby in the wild and have tried for six years to be his family. We all love him, but recognize that he would be much happier running free and hunting. The killing of birds and rabbits has gotten too much for my kids to handle. We talk about the “circle of life,” but it’s still very upsetting to all of them. He would be a great farm or outdoor property cat!
