Story
Meet Mathilda, a stunning 2-year-old black cat with a heart as lovely as her sleek fur. She made her way to us all the way from Baton Rouge, where a kill shelter needed to make space—and luckily, we at Pet Savers had room to welcome her in. Mathilda is up-to-date on all her vaccinations and ready to find her forever home. While she may seem a little shy at first, give her about 2.5 seconds and she’ll be leaning in for head scratches and affection. She absolutely loves being loved on! She gets along well with other cats, though we’re not sure how she feels about dogs just yet. One thing’s for sure—she’s got a lot of love to give to the right person or family. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion, Mathilda might just be the perfect match. Apply today at petsaversshreveport.org!April 13, 2025, 8:29 am

Story
Tigger was found with her sister under my car at place I was working at.They both were just 3-4 weeks old. Both had injuries to tail and were filthy. Her sister had no tail something ate it.Took home gave bath but still had rotten smell. Took to vet. They had pneumonia injuries to tails, malnutrition and dehydrated. Sister sadly didn't make it. But they wanted to cut her tail off but would have cost more than could afford. So nursed her and her tail like crazy. She doesn't do well in car rides or being in taxi. She has bad anxiety.will throw up and use bathroom in taxi or in car. So fair warning when comes to vet visit times. She loves to hunt, which on occasion will give you her gifts, play, being outside and inside. Special sensitive stomach cat food is needed. She is loveable and affectionate will follow you everywhere once gets to know you. Needs either her own home or just 1 other cat. Yes she takes along time to adjust to you and cat.She will bully if not paying attention9033318766
