Land lord said no cats .. plus l am a retired senior on low income & trying to create a new .., I have been taking care of Bell for 10 years plus ,,,. .. l am trying to create a new income and my focus is elsewhere.. she needs more attention l cannot give! It has all become too much pressure and responsibility, as well as my mental health constantly being bothered by her as she acts like police dogI am always barely able to buy cat food to feed them and go without food myself! I am turning 68 - Help

Story
I never thought I would become a cat person, but then Maxi chose me. I first met Maxi last year after our neighbors moved to Arizona and left him behind. He was always outside, wandering around the neighborhood, but what caught my attention was his love for people. He would approach everyone with such a friendly, trusting personality. He was, without a doubt, the sweetest cat I had ever met. Maxi enjoys spending his days outdoors, especially during the summer, exploring and enjoying the sunshine. When winter comes, though, he is more than happy to curl up inside where it's warm and cozy. He has been attacked by dogs before, so he may be fearful around them and would do best with a family that understands his need to feel safe. I'm hoping to find Maxi a loving home where he can continue being the affectionate, sociable cat he has always been, with the freedom to enjoy both indoor comfort and outdoor adventures in a safe environment.

I am devastated writing this. Heartbroken pulling up photos of her to post. But my son has an allergy to her and it is getting worse as time goes on. We have been wavering on this decision for two years now because it breaks our hearts. Everest is 6 years old. Her birthday is June 8, 2020. She is very sweet, friendly and loving. If you are sitting still she will find a way to your lap. She has been mostly indoor her whole life but because of my son’s allergy she has been exploring outdoor more often and actually loves it. She stays very close to home. Rarely wanders out of our yard and come inside to eat and hang out with us. She is litter trained and always has been. She is very good with kids, is still playful and also prefers to come to you while you are lounging. She also lives with dogs and is totally fine with them. Just prefers them to stay outside her bubble. She prefers kibble. Doesn’t love wet food. She also asks for us to turn the sink on for her to drink.
