Story
Boudica is a petite Border Collie mix with brains, beauty, and a zest for life. She came to us due to her owner’s medical hospitalization and is now ready for a fresh start with an active, loving home. She is potty trained, crate trained, and rides well in the car. An eager and fast learner, Boudica would thrive with someone who enjoys training and other fun activities that keep her mind and body engaged. She’s been well behaved in her foster home and would love a fenced yard where she can run and play. Fetching her favorite stuffie is one of her greatest joys! Boudica likes other dogs, offering play bows and happy tail wags on walks, and would likely enjoy a canine companion—but doesn’t need one to be happy. She tends to want to herd small dogs and small children, so a home with older kids and larger dogs would be ideal to help show her her place. After playtime, she settles beautifully in the house, curling up contentedly by your feet. For anyone seeking a loyal, intelligent companion to share life’s adventures, Boudica might be the perfect match.

Story
Douglas is a resilient boy with a heart that refuses to quit. He was adopted from our shelter a little over a year ago, but recently found himself wandering as a stray, underweight, dirty, and sporting a broken canine tooth. Even in rough shape, Douglas greeted us the same way he always did, with a wagging tail and a spark of hope in his eyes. Now that he’s back in our care, Douglas is filling out, cleaning up, and showing everyone just how playful and loving he truly is. He’s a big fan of yard zoomies, has already made a dog friend, and is brushing up on his leash manners. Douglas thrives around people and would make an excellent hiking buddy or adventure partner for someone who loves an active, loyal companion.Despite the bumps in his journey, Douglas remains gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. He did test low-positive for heartworms and has already begun treatment, so he’ll need a family willing to help him finish healing and step confidently into his next chapter.Douglas is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s ready for a forever home that will cherish him, protect him, and never let him down again.
