She is house trained, kennel trained, and knows basic commands like sit and lay down. She needs to be in a kennel when left unattended because she will chew things. We plan to get her up to date on shots and spay her before adopting. She doesn't like other dogs or strangers but is affectionate to owners and loves belly scratches. Please consider this sweet girl, she just needs training and she could be a great companion. She is so sensitive to emotions and will comfort you when you are sad. She needs the right loving home.

I love other dogs, people, and even those funny little cats, though I’ll admit I get a bit nervous when I meet new folks or walk into unfamiliar places. WARNING AGGRESSIVE DOG!!Mako is a 6 year old pure breed Australian Cattle dog. I love Mako with all of my heart but I am moving and no longer have the time or resources to take care of him. 99% of the time Mako is a very loving, loyal, and playful dog. However, I need to make it very clear that the other 1% of the time he can be unpredictable, aggressive, and a danger to others. He has bitten multiple people including me and he not safe around children or other animals. That being said, once he builds trust with someone, he is fiercely loyal and loving but he can be hostile to new visitors and cannot be allowed near children or other animals. He is a herding dog so he needs lots of attention and exercise daily and he LOVES the water. Ideally, I am looking for a person without young children or other pets who can adopt Mako.
