Riley was born December 1, 2023. He is an extremely loving and very smart border collie. I purchased him from a certified canine breeder, which did a full DNA test on him to ensure he is healthy and will not get any health conditions in the future. The reason we are trying to find him a new home is he is too anxious for my wife and 3 kids. He requires a lot of attention but also a relatively quiet home without too many noises and movements from kids. He is a working dog and needs to stay busy so the greater the activity you do with him, such as boarding school, jogging/walking, training, dog day care (i.e while you are working), etc. the better relationship you will have with him.

Border Collie

Lafayette, LA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained,
Chance has been wandering the streets for weeks through all the storms that the south has had. He was very defeated on life and was willing to have any interaction. He is the sweetest dog I have encountered. He gets along great with all humans and dogs. I haven’t ever heard him bark, he seems just very grateful to have a safe place to sleep at night.

Border Collie Labrador Retriever

Male, 1 yr
Baton Route, LA
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
In Haughton, LA - Let me introduce Cooper to you! He’s a black and white Border Collie/Lab Mix. He’s approximately 1 years old. He came from a shelter where he was scheduled to be euthanized, but ASF rescued him so he could find her furever home. He’s very energetic and loves being outdoors and playing with other animals. He does very well with other dogs, I’m unsure about cats. He shows no sign of aggression whatsoever. He sleeps in his kennel at night very well. He doesn’t whine unless another animal is nearby. He plays with toys but it’s not something he does often. He loves eating!! He does very well in a vehicle, he wants to be right on top of you. He seems to be potty trained for the most part. He doesn’t enjoy any type of water on his body unless it’s to go outside and potty. Overall Copper is a fun loving and lovable boy, who was saved from death row and now ready to start his new life with his new family. If he sounds great for your family, here is the application: There is an additioal $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
