She is working on her manners and doing very well. It helps that she is treat and food motivated. Fable was doing well in her kennel but has had a slight regression that we are working on. She has shown some resource guarding with toys but has played nicely with my dog with toys as well. Just something to keep an eye on. Fable is good with dogs and is excited to meet new people. She knows her basic commands and generally comes when called, unless she is hyper focused on something. She loves going for walks and walks well on a leash. Fable is a bit of a loud "talker" in her kennel, but when she is out of the kennel, she doesn't bark at all, even at other animals. She loves all the attention and is learning to take turns with her foster sister. Fable is such a sweetheart and would make a wonderful companion and a fantastic adventure buddy! ** Fable is Anaplasmosis and Lyme positive. These are tick-borne illnesses, and she is currently being treated with Doxycycline.   To learn more about Anaplasmosis in dogs, read here: https://share.google/jChVgbT3GYvfp4y2K To learn more about Lyme disease in dogs, read here: https://share.google/sm9cgo5mKn9jjUmWWTo view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org May 31, 2026, 4:39 pm

Story
Dana is a sweet and smart girl who loves her people. She can be shy with new people at first but forms a bond quickly. She has just started learning sit, down, touch which she is picking up quite quickly. She sleeps through the night in her kennel but is still working on kenneling during the day and potty training. She does great on car rides and sleeps most of the way. She loves to snuggle with her person but can also be quite playful. She is currently learning the joys of fetch. She walks well on a leash and looks to her person for guidance. She loves to learn new things and is eager to please.

Story
Cheeto is a 5 year old mini Aussie, boarder collie, blue heeler mix and is the sweetest, energetic dog there is! He loves long walks and running anywhere he can, especially when the zoomies hit! He needs lots of room to move around and someone around to cuddle with. He’s a real quiet dog that hardly ever makes a sound but LOVES attention, pets, and playing! He doesn’t play with toys, and is real picky about what treats he likes. When a group of kiddos are around they’ll love playing with him, but to him, he’s hard at work herding, never biting, just pushing them where they need to go.
