Story
Birdie here! It is very nice to meet you. I am a VERY high energy girl who loves to run around and play. I need a home that is active and will be willing to give me the exercise I need, because of this I would not do well in an apartment setting and would be best in a home with a fenced in yard or a farm environment with plenty of space.I am super loving and love every person I meet, once I get my zoomies out and calm down, I am very gentle and docile!I seem to enjoy other dogs, but would need to meet any others in the home first.Come see me! :)

Story
Shadow is a high energy, super smart boy, with a history of trauma. We fostered Shadow when he was scheduled to be euthanized and we don't regret saving him at all. Unfortunately, we didn't have a very positive experience with the organization that arranged the fostering agreement. We realized early-on that Shadow didn't get along well with our male dog and asked repeatedly to have him placed with a different foster family. After nearly a year of fostering him, we decided to adopt him because we were so frustrated with the organization and tried to make the best of the situation. He has lived with us for nearly two years now and we have continued to work on his behavioral issues during that time. However, he still fights with our other male dog (but gets along well with our female). We know he would do better in a home where he could be the only dog or live with a more submissive dog. We are happy to provide a more thorough history and answer any questions you have about him.
