Hi, my name is Laverne! I am a 5 year old collie mix who is ready to find my forever family! Have a tennis ball and room to run? I am there! That is truly the way to my heart. And snacks, of course, because who doesn`t love a treat every now and then (or all the time)? Being such a happy go lucky girl, you would never know I have a hard past. I was used as a puppy making machine for most of my life. I never really knew what affection and gentle hands were like. But now that I have gotten a taste for it, I can`t get enough! While I am not quite ready to be adopted until I am spayed on October 23rd, I am looking for my forever family to foster me until then or take me home right after! He is sweet and smart, and he wants a person of his own. When Tucker chooses his person, he stays close to them. He wants to be near you on the couch, on a walk, or in the car.What Tucker lovesTucker loves toys, fetch, walks, car rides, and cuddles. He is a Border Collie, so he has a lot of energy. He needs daily exercise and activity time. He is also very clever. He knows "sit," "stay," "wait," and "fetch/drop." His best trick is "inside voice": when you ask for it, he barks very softly. When you ask for a toy back, he drops it and nudges it over to you with his nose.Good mannersTucker is house-trained and crate-trained, and he walks well on a leash. He is calm when he stays home alone during the workday.HealthTucker came to us overweight from a previous home. He now eats a prescription weight-loss food. His new owner must continue this diet and give him regular exercise. With an active owner, Tucker can become a fit and happy dog again.The right home for TuckerAn adult-only home. Tucker has never bitten anyone. But he becomes nervous and territorial around young children, so he needs a home with no kids.The only pet. Tucker is selective with other dogs and cats. Panda will be 2 years old in December. She is house and crate trained. I am heartbroken to have to rehome her. She loves people and kids, once she warms up to them, she tends to be a little skittish at first. Panda needs a home where she is the only pet. As Panda has start coming into adulthood she is fighting other dogs in the home. She has never showed aggression towards a person or any other animals! Panda would make a great adventure partner for someone as her breeds are high energy working dogs. She is very good on a leash after a few minutes, gotta burn off the excited energy. She will play fetch as long as you will throw the ball. When it’s time to go to bed she is a cuddler.
