Story
Meet Pepe: 40 Pounds of Puppy Fun Hi there! I’m Pepe, a 5-month-old Border Collie mix, and I’m already weighing in at 40 pounds of puppy fun! If you don’t mind me saying so, I’m pretty adorable, too. I’m a friendly, happy boy who loves spending time with my humans. Whether we’re hanging out together or heading out for a car ride, I’m happiest when I’m included in the action. And since I’m still a puppy, I’ve got plenty of energy to spare! If you lead an active lifestyle and are looking for a four-legged sidekick who can keep up, I might be your guy. I’m already house trained, and I’m a smart boy who knows some commands. Of course, I’m still young and have lots to learn, so I’d love a family who will take the time to continue my training and help me grow into the best boy I can be. A little guidance, consistency, and patience will go a long way with me! There are a few things we don’t know about me yet. I haven’t been around other dogs, cats, or children, so I’m not sure how I’ll feel about sharing my home with them. If you have furry friends or kiddos, slow introductions will be a must while we get to know each other. Now, I should probably tell you about my other talent: running! I love to run, and I’m also pretty talented when it comes to jumping fences. Because of that, I’ll need a large, secure yard with fencing that can keep this athletic youngster safely contained. I’m an adventurous guy, so a good fence is going to be very important to my new family. If you’re looking for a sweet, smart, energetic puppy who is ready to learn, play, explore, and grow right alongside you, I’d love to meet you. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet. I can’t wait to show you what a great boy I am!

Story
Jinx is a very loyal very loving dog. We do not want to re home him but do not have an option. He is very smart, he learns very quickly and responds to commands like sit, lay down, shake, stay, etc. jinx is friendly but he has to warm up to people you have to let him come to you and the best way to do that is through his toys. He loves tug of war with ropes, he plays fetch & will return with toy you throw for him. Jinx will get along with other animals as long as you introduce him on a leash and let him become familiar. Like I said he's a great dog I just cannot take him where I'm going. He was born May 21st 2024 we have been his only owners since 8 weeks old.

Story
Looking for a hard-working farm dog who's ready to trade chores for couch time? Well, maybe not trade...but looking to find that sweet "best of both worlds" spot? I think you've just found him! Hi, friends! My name is Willy, and I'm a handsome Border Collie mix with a big smile, an even bigger heart, and a lifetime of loyalty to give. I'm a friendly, happy, social guy who absolutely LOVES people. Spending time with my humans is one of my favorite things, and I'm always happy to be part of whatever is going on. I haven't spent much time around small children, so taking it slow will help us get to know each other. Before coming to Heartland, I was a working farm dog, so I'm no stranger to hard work. I'm comfortable around livestock and have spent most of my life outdoors. I will say that chickens are my weakness. Now, I'm hoping to find a family who will show me what life as a beloved companion is all about. I love playing with toys and being outside, so if you've got a yard or enjoy spending time outdoors, we'll get along just fine. I'll be honest about one thing—I can be a little selective when it comes to my canine friends, and cats are definitely not my cup of tea. Because of that, I'm looking for a cat-free home, and any introductions to other dogs should be done slowly to make sure we're a good match. If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion, I think we should meet. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet. I can't wait to meet my forever family!
