Story
Woody is a four-year-old Australian Shepherd, Border Collie mix (we think he might also have blue heeler in him). He was supposed to be a mini Aussie, because he father was, but apparently mom was bigger because he is a medium-sized dog. But he is very lovable and loves to play. We got him from a friend of the family who was selling their puppies. He has been very healthy and has no problem going to the vet or being boarded. We love him, but our family structure is changing and we won't be able to keep him in the new arrangement. We are also gone a lot, so he doesn't get proper playing or exercising, which breaks my heart. I really want him to find a person, couple, or family that will give him the love and attention he deserves. He's very smart (sometimes sneaky), but he is a good dog.

Woody was from a litter of puppies that our family friends had for sale. The father of the puppies was a mini Aussie, but the mother was Aussie and we think Border Collie. He is a sweet dog who really loves to be around people. He is playful and smart, and he deserves a home where someone will take him for walks and get him out of the house. He loves the creek by our house and enjoys playing tug of war. Our financial and family situation has changed a lot in the last few months and we have not been able to give him the attention he deserves. We hate to lose him, but we know that he deserves better than we can give him right now. He is four years old and is up to date on his vaccinations and does well at the vet. He loves kids and loves to play with cats. He hasn't had much experience with dogs, but doesn't seem to mind them in the park or other public places.
