Weight: 125Lbs Meet Diesel — a 7-year-old Boerboel mix who looks like he could guard a fortress but would rather guard you. At 125 lbs of pure affection, Diesel believes love is best expressed by leaning his entire body weight on people like he’s a weighted blanket with opinions. He comes with rolls on rolls (every single one intentional), a face that says “intimidating,” and a personality that says “please tell me I’m a good boy again.” Diesel is exceptionally sweet, emotionally soft, and deeply committed to belly rubs. If you make eye contact for more than three seconds, he will immediately roll over like a fainting Victorian child and present his stomach for service. Bark at him and he will bark back—not aggressively, just conversationally. He’s polite like that. He thrives on reassurance, snacks, and being near his people—very near. Personal space is not a concept he subscribes to. Diesel is not suited for apartment living—this is a big dog with a big presence who needs space to exist comfortably and safely. He also must go home in a harness (no exceptions, safety first!), and the good news is that Humane Fort Wayne sells an appropriate harness for $15, so he’ll be ready to roll out in style. In summary: Diesel is a giant, affectionate marshmallow disguised as a serious dog. He’s loyal, loving, slightly drooly, and fully prepared to steal your heart—and possibly your balance. Dogs: Must meet all pups in home!! Cats: Unknown Kids: Must meet every kiddo in the home!!
