M - 7 years old - Boston Terrier Mix - If his sister, Chamomile, is the calm cup of tea, Fenway is the espresso shot. He is hyper, wild, and absolutely refuses to sit still for long. He bounces through life with big energy and an even bigger personality. One minute he’s zooming and crashing into your legs, the next he’s making some hilariously dramatic face that perfectly matches his slightly unhinged (in the cutest way) vibe. Fenway has that wonderfully funky Boston look with those expressive eyes, goofy expressions, and a face that always seems to be mid-thought. He’s the kind of dog who keeps you laughing without even trying. But underneath all that wild energy is a deeply sensitive heart. Fenway is completely bonded to his sister, Chamomile. When separated from her, he cries and howls and it's not just a little whine, but a full, dramatic performance. She is his security blanket, his best friend, his entire world. That's why they are a bonded pair, meaning they must go home together. They are a package deal, no question. Fenway will need a home that understands his energetic, quirky personality and is ready to embrace both his antics and his loyalty. ADOPT To adopt, come see us! We're open for walk-ins Tuesday - Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM with adoptions closing at 4:30 PM each day. F - 7 years old - Boston Terrier Mix - True to her name, Chamomile is the calmer, softer, slightly more sensible half of her bonded pair. She is sweet, affectionate, and happy to stay close to her people. While she still has that classic Boston sparkle, she’s less chaotic than her brother and balances him beautifully. The bond between her and her brother Fenway is something truly special. They are deeply connected. When separated, he cries and howls for her. She is his comfort and his anchor, especially throughout their shelter life journey. They nap together, move together, and look for each other instinctively. Wherever Chamomile goes, he follows. Recently, Chamomile was found to have an enlarged lymph node. X-rays have shown that the cancer has not spread to her lungs, which is encouraging. At this time, there are two paths forward: surgical removal of the lymph node and tumor with biopsy to determine grade (though high-grade cancer is suspected and recurrence is likely), or hospice care, focusing on keeping her comfortable and cherished for whatever time she has. Through it all, Chamomile remains the same loving girl. She still seeks affection, still enjoys being near her people, and still finds comfort curled up beside her brother. Chamomile will need a very special home, one that understands both the medical road ahead and the importance of keeping this bonded pair together. In return, she offers quiet devotion, tender companionship, and a love story between siblings that is impossible not to feel. ADOPT To adopt, come see us!
