Story
Chrissy has given a lifetime of love. Now, she just needs a soft place to rest. This gentle 20-pound girl is in her final chapter. Her body is tired from severe arthritis, but her heart is still so full of love. She’s sweet, easygoing, and happiest just being near someone who cares. Right now, Chrissy is struggling in the shelter. Comfort is hard to find but in a quiet home, with a cozy bed and a kind person, she can finally relax and feel safe. Her care is comfort focused and fully supported. She takes her daily medication easily, and she does benefit from regular clinic visits, including weekly acupuncture and a monthly injection to help keep her comfortable. She will need a little help getting around, extra potty breaks, and gentle clean-up now and then—but everything you need is provided. You don’t have to be perfect—just kind and patient. If you can give Chrissy a peaceful place to land, even for a little while, you’ll be giving her the greatest gift: comfort, dignity, and love when she needs it most.
