Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Harley Bubbles! Don’t you love it! My foster mom gave it to me and told me it was a special name, it was special, just like me! I came into my foster home extremely underweight. That’s sad, because I LOVE food and am learning all kinds of new tricks to get awesome treats!  I don’t know much about the world. Everything seems new to me! My foster mom is not sure if I was ever taken anywhere and showed anything! BUT, I am now! I love my foster sister! She is very patient with me! I did not know much about playing or toys but she is teaching me!  I have young fella energy but love to snuggle my people when it is TV time! I am an adorable short stocky little guy. That’s what my foster mom says!  I would really love a family who can continue to teach me all about how wonderful this big life can be!  If you think that is you, I hope to meet you soon!  Love, Harley Bubbles     Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Picasso is a very sweet, loving boy that loves to cuddle with his people. He also likes to spend time outside but is not a candidate for daily walks. He does not like other dogs so he is very reactive on the leash. He needs a home with no other pets and no kids. Picasso is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors, he prefers women over men, and will need a quiet home with very little traffic. He is crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and house trained. Picasso will not be a good fit for an apartment, townhouse or condo. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Picasso please fill out an online application. Questions to cbrookszy@yahoo.com Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. May 4, 2024, 8:53 am

Story
Hello!!! Thank you for checking me out! My foster mom says I am absolutely perfect and the sweetest dog she has ever met! If you are looking for care free, easy going, full contact cuddler of a dog, that's me!!! I absolutely adore my humans and want to be with them all the time! I love going for walks, car rides, and I make an excellent running buddy despite my little legs! Watching TV and snuggling is my absolute favorite, you will never be on the couch alone again! And I am a petite little girl that won't take up too much of the couch... or your lap... or the bed. I love every person I meet and always have a huge smile on my face! I love going into my crate because there are always yummy snacks in there! And toys are my favorite! Especially the ones with the squeakers that I rip out in seconds. I do prefer to be the only dog in the house as I want all the attention to myself. I would love to be part of your family and keep you entertained all day long!!! We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC provides a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, as well as telephone support.   May 3, 2024, 3:06 pm
