I came to OBARR from a county shelter because they were overwhelmed and needed urgent help with a neglect case they had. I was currently being held with a foster and was one of the more tamer ones. I love people once I get to know them, I am Dog friendly, and yet to learn what a thing the humans call a cat is. I have been Neutered, up to date on vaccinations and preventives, and also all negative on my combo test. I am a sweet, lovable excitable little guy that just wants the most out of life! So we have established that we are some fruity pups lets get to the meat and potatoes :) We LOVE the four food groups!! So enough about us ;) We are cute, loving and happy pups. We have maybe some cute and weird breeding.... ur mama looks like a red boston terrier and our dad was the local yokel,, maybe a pittie mix?? But we have all the adorable traits of puppies who love everyone we meet, INCLUDING felines!! We are the sweetest and ripest fruit around, adopt one of us and you will see :) Low riders, fun and cuddly! Looking for a little dog with a whole lot of heart? Meet Ian! Ian is a 1.5-year-old black and white sweetheart who proves every day that a rough start does not define your future. This pint-sized boy previously suffered a hip injury, which has healed beautifully, and his happy, playful spirit never missed a beat. Ian is fun, boisterous, and full of contagious joy. He loves attention, enjoys romping around with his toys, and is always ready for a cuddle when playtime winds down. He does well with other dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a home with canine friends. Ian also loves his food and is happily not picky. He eats from a slow-feeder bowl to help him enjoy his meals at a healthy pace and aid digestion. Medical Transparency (the important but reassuring part): Ian has Diabetes Insipidus, which is not the same as diabetes mellitus. This condition affects how his body concentrates urine and has nothing to do with blood sugar. • Oral medication only — no shots or injections • Takes medication twice daily to maintain healthy urine concentration and support full bladder emptying • Medication may be lifelong or temporary, depending on future veterinary guidance • Medication cost can vary depending on the veterinarian or pharmacy • Needs frequent potty breaks Ian does wonderfully on his routine and is otherwise a happy, active, affectionate young dog. He is looking for a loving home that will appreciate his joyful personality and continue his simple daily care so he can thrive for years to come.
