She and one of her babies, Izzy, were adopted together—and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Izzy has always been a mama’s girl.This week, their world was turned upside down. Say hello to TESS! Tess is such a doll you can’t help but smile to look at that face and those teeth. This love bug came into the rescue from a hoarder situation. Tess is fully vetted, spayed and 2 to 3 years old. She is in a wonderful foster home with some of her friends from her old place and with a couple of her foster mom’s dogs and doing just wonderful. This sweet loving pup needs a home to call her own that is not overwhelmed and over crowded with other dogs. Such situations lack the time and attention every dog deserves. Tess is going to make an awesome companion for any family. Especially little dog loving families. She is dang near perfect. Personality: Tess is goofy, energetic, and playful! She loves to snuggle up on the end of the couch for long naps. She is soooooo ready to be your new best friend and would love a home where she can grow to be a wonderful life long family friend. Once adopted Tess will travel via the Rescue Transport to her new family. Zeus is a10 year-old Brindle Boston mix, 33 pounds of muscle, with a gentle mouth; he's a very loving guy who loves to play with dogs his size. He's a bit energetic for smaller dogs, but played with our 10# puppy every day. Zeus would love to have a 6 foot fenced yard with room to run and play; he used to jump our 4 foot fence. This beautiful Chi/Corgi/Boston Terrier puppy came to DASH with her momma and sister when she was just a few weeks old from rural southern Ohio. This little girl may be young and small, but she has already started to show her sweet, but fiesty personality in her foster home. She is just a puppy, so she's just starting her potty training, crate training, and socialization skills. She gets along with all of the smaller dogs in her foster home, but has not been kid or cat tested. Due to her small size, young kids may not be the best fit for her. Her new family will need to continue working with her on her puppy manners as well. This little one is ready to find her forever home where she will probably steal the toys and your heart! Doug is you typical goofy, playful frenchie, except that he is blind. He developed SARDS a couple years ago and lost his sight. He has adjusted very well to his condition. He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, he is house broken & crate trained, he goes on walks. Obviously there are some adjustments that will be needed in his new home. Moving furniture will cause him to bump into things initially. Stairs should be blocked so he doesn't fall down them. He seems to be able to distinguish light and dark differences in the environment helping him navigate. There's good information available on line to help give these guys a safe happy home.
