Meet "Jett"! Jett was rescued in Kingfisher by one of our dedicated employees after making multiple trips to earn his trust. He is approximately a 3-year-old Boston terrier mix weighing around 15 pounds. While we don't know much about Jett's past before his rescue, we can only guess that he may not have had the most positive interactions with people. He tends to be quite cautious about getting too close to anyone and will dart away if you bend down to pick him up or pet him, but he always returns - just out of reach, haha. Jett is a curious little fellow who enjoys following you around, gets along well with dogs of all sizes, and has a gentle demeanor. He would thrive in a peaceful home with another friendly dog and with owners who are willing to be patient with him. While he may not be the type to snuggle on your lap or cuddle under the covers, he will happily keep you company from a distance and will be a wonderful companion to your other furry friends. Story
Luna is a loyal sweet girl. She is newly 6 years old and once she warms up to someone she loves to initiate snuggles. She needs calm consistent love. She wants to be an only pet to an adult who has the time to help her live her best life. I have two dogs that do not like each others.I truly want her to have her best life and the biggest love. They are litter mates and struggle with sharing a home together being 2 females. They are always competing to be the dominant. I would love to see her find a home where she could be the only dog and receive all of the love that she deserves without feeling like she needs to fight for attention or fight off her sibling. I have worked really hard with them and this is a really hard decision to come to, but for both of the dogs to have their best lives I think they need to be in separate homes. She is ready to give so much love to someone who is looking for a sweet girl.
