Story
Ruby was abandoned by her original owner and found at someone else's property while seeking out their owner. She left and was later taken to a shelter and boarded for nearly a year. After which, she was brought into our custody for a more personalized boarding experience. In that time, she was trained (Sit, stay, lay, down, and up) and housebroken. She was also desensitized to many of the things that triggered her fear response. She is in many ways a sweet and smart young lady who is fine sleeping in an outside or inside kennel, and can, if allowed, sleep in a bed with her owner or in her own bed near her owner (those last two are her preference). When at home, she is verbal to strangers but also welcoming once she is told they are not a threat. However, when out for a walk, it is best to keep her away from others (people and/animals). Her social ability with other animals is hit and miss, except with smaller animals, which is always bad.
