He is sweet and very affectionate. Loves toys and romping in the yard, a fenced in yard would be a plus for this boy.  He gets along great with other dogs. Has been started on crate training as well as leash training. Very curious in new surroundings.  Seems eager to learn.  Soldier is up to date on rabies and distemper vaccines. Microchipped and current on preventatives. He is not yet neutered as he is a bilateral crypt orchid. This means his testicle have yet to drop. The veterinarian wants to give them more time to drop. Therefore there will be a neuter deposit of $75 added to the adoption fee.  This will be returned to adopter once he is neutered.  If interested in possible adoption please go to Www.DelawareRescue.com and complete the online adoption application Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. Story
Hi I'm Luna. I have found myself signed up for HSWC summer camp. I'm not sure how that happened. I am young but a bit out of shape. Maybe I'm here to shed some lbs -that must be it! Nothing I can't handle. I'll be back down to my normal 58 pounds in no time. I like exercise in moderation. And I need to cut back on some snacks. I guess broccoli and greens beans are my new best friends. No problem. I can be pretty determined when I set my sights to something. Here are some highlights about me :Hobbies: 📺Tv watching🛋️Couch cuddles with my favorite person. I guess I should say I like hiking. Seems like a lot of work tho.🚘Maybe car rides to get a burger - I mean salad.🥗❤️I love my people. I'm happy when you are happy.I had a long term relationship that recently broke up. I'm crushed. I don't want to be here at camp and will work hard to get my athletic figure back and find a new love.(Currently 80 pounds.) 🔴🚫🙀I am a NO CATS girl. It's not even worth discussing.I don't want them near me or my stuff or my person. 🟢🐶 I can walk by dogs ok. Meet and greets required by staff to determine sibling compatibility. Stop by and meet me. I just might be the love of your life. Soulmates even. Don't delay I can't wait to settle in and begin our new adventure together. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 77 Age: 4yrs 6mths 3wks

Story
Hanky – Brindle Comfort in a 51-Pound Package 🐾 5 years old, Boxer mix, Neutered Male "Looking for a dog who’s the definition of chill? Meet Hanky." Hanky is the ultimate low-energy companion, friendly, sweet, and full of wiggly joy whenever you give him love. He’s happiest lounging by your side, quietly soaking up affection, and using his favorite stuffed toy as a pillow. While Hanky mostly keeps a relaxed pace, every now and then he might surprise you with a tiny burst of playful energy, enough to make you chuckle, but never demanding the spotlight. Hanky has lived with cats, small dogs, and even free-range chickens and ducks. He’s grown up around children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and has proven himself to be a patient, steady presence in every situation. At the shelter, he’s also been a “helper dog,” calmly supporting and modeling positive behavior for other pups. His easygoing nature makes him a joy in public settings, greeting new people warmly without overwhelming them. Hanky’s Highlights: ✔️ 5-year-old Boxer mix, 51 lbs ✔️ Neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated ✔️ Extremely low-energy, friendly, and treat-motivated ✔️ Wiggly and affectionate when receiving attention ✔️ Previously lived with cats, dogs, farm animals, and kids of all ages.
