Story
If you’ve ever watched Homeward Bound, imagine Chance—not the most coordinated, but an endless supply of love. That’s Semi! He is a 1½-year-old Boxer mix with the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. At around 60 pounds, he’s convinced he’s the perfect lap dog and would happily spend hours cuddling. He’s incredibly friendly and has never met a stranger. Adults, kids, visitors—you name it, Semi thinks everyone is his new best friend. Because of his size and his goofy enthusiasm, we’d recommend a home with older children. Semi loves car rides, enjoys being part of whatever you’re doing, and is always up for an adventure. He’s house-trained, knows basic commands, but could use a little more practice with leash training. He will be neutered before going to his new family. Semi is looking for a family who wants a loyal best friend, a cuddle buddy, and a daily source of laughter. If you have room in your heart (and on your couch), Semi can’t wait to meet you!

Story
I got Kobe when I got to my first duty station a year ago. I didnt know his breed when I got him, I loved him, trained him as much as possible. After finding out he is a pitbull, it has been hard to find a place to live with the restrictions they bring. He also is not allowed in certain countries. I was notified I may be sent to deploy. I need to rehome him as I would not be able to bring him with me. He is loving, he cuddles, and has a lot of energy. As most pitbull owners know, they take a lot of training, responsibility, and care. He does well with most dogs, but is definitely a protector. He’s a strong boy who sometimes doesn’t know his own strength. He is scared of brooms, mops, vacuums and curtains. His birthday was January 8th, 2025.
